Dr. Kathleen Colgan

With years of experience working as a media relations consultant, Kathleen has written for Astronauts, the United Nations, international companies, United States Governors, university and educational groups, members of U.S. Congress, and more. Kathleen's work has been featured by American and European television news programs and C-Span in addition to being widely published in such respected venues as Vital Speeches of the Day and Representative American Speeches.

Education

An Ivy League graduate from Brown University, Kathleen earned an A.B. in English and American Literature and in political science. She has an M.A. degree in international relations and political philosophy from Rice University, an M.A. degree in English and American Literature from the University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. in English and American Literature from the University of Texas in Austin.

Kathleen's university teaching experience includes the University of Notre Dame, Rice University, and the University of Texas. In her teaching, Dr. Colgan has always earned her students' highest possible ratings and reviews.
